Fun fence build
We just finished this fence in the community of South Calgary. The homeowners wanted to emulate the rather immaculate fence on the east side on their beautifully gardened backyards with steep grades. Many 1×4s were ripped to make 1×1s and 1×2s and you’ll notice the 2×2s along the tops of each panel. I am particularly proud of the gate - sturdily built with 1×4 and 1×6 fence boards and zero 2×4s. Note that the homeowner wanted to reuse most of the fence posts. She plans to stain the entire fence next summer.
