After a very busy summer building decks and fences in Calgary, it was nice to cover old, sunken and breaking concrete steps for my mom in Manitoba. A mobility company is adding a lift to the side that is currently unfinished to help her leave and enter her home by wheelchair or with a walker. I am so happy she will soon have more freedom.
It was fun to use the previous railing and plan to add railing to the actual steps once we see the lift in place.
And check back here because we’ll start posting more projects from summer 2026.
